Alpha Omega Youth Ministry – Sundays 6:00 – 8:00
The Alpha Omega Youth Ministry youth program serves 6th through 12th graders. Alpha Omega meets on Sunday evenings and begins with a snack supper at 6:00 and continues with programs and activities until 8:00. Our mission is to support, encourage, help, lead, and direct youth in spiritual and personal growth by providing youth programs based on the Word of God, where Christian ideas, values, and faith can be explored in a supportive group of peers and adults. In addition to weekly activities, youth are involved in numerous fund raising projects, local and national mission projects, and social activities.
Crossroads — Wednesday Evenings – 6:45 – 8:00
We meet at the church following Wednesday Night Dinner and you have a choice of which way to go. For those who feel like burning some energy, there will be games to play in the gym followed by a short Devotion in the FLC Lobby. For any looking for an in-depth, discussion-style Bible Study, that will be available upstairs in either the Youth Room or one of the classrooms. Both will conclude at 8:00.
Additional Youth Activities
In addition to the above opportunities, youth of Beaver Ridge UMC are connected to and participate in a variety of experiences. These include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Annual participation in Resurrection (Holston Conference Spiritual Retreat)
- Two youth retreats each year
- Participation in district youth events
- Various fundraising activities
- Annual week-long mission trip
- Monthly service projects
- Various participation in missions both within the church and the community
Upcoming Activities
