United Methodist Women

Beaver Ridge United Methodist Church has a long history of active participation in United Methodist Women.  The UMW Purpose is stated as follows:

“The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.”

Beaver Ridge UMC currently supports two UMW Circles:  Dorcas Circle which meets the first Monday of the month at 10:00 a.m. and Sarah Circle which meets the first Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.  Along with these monthly meetings, both circles join together quarterly for a Unit Meeting.

Both circles actively support the mission and ministries of UMW at the local, district and conference levels and participate in many activities for the local church.
